The Idea Behind the Name
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I spent many afternoons walking along the beach looking for agates. Finding one always felt like discovering something hidden in plain sight — a small stone containing patterns and layers formed over time.
That idea became the inspiration for Agate Jelly.
Just as agates contain layers formed through years of natural processes, Pearl Jam’s music has developed layers through decades of songwriting, touring, and cultural impact. The more you listen, the more there is to discover.
